AZ 태권도아카데미, 엘리트태권도대회서 26개 메달 획득

아리조나 태권도 아카데미의 선수단 14명이 지난달 28일 캘리포니아 플라센티아의 발렌시아 고교에서 열린 '제2회 엘리트 태권도 챔피언십'에 출전해 총 26개의 메달을 획득하고 돌아왔다.

각 띠별과 연령별 시합에 골고루 출전한 아리조나 태권도 아카데미 선수단은 경기 결과 11개의 금메달과 8개 은메달, 7개 동메달을 목에 걸었다.

한편 선수단을 인솔한 김현 관장은 오렌지 카운티 슈퍼바이저이자 한인 정치인으로도 잘 알려진 미셸 스틸(여성 대회장) 씨로부터 카운티가 수여하는 감사패를 받았다.

Black Belt Division

* Junior Division (15-17): Tyler Taing - Poomsae, 3rd Place/ Srija Desai - Poomsae, 3rd Place
