코로나 바이러스로 인한 아시아계 미국인에 대한 인종차별 신고방법

 코로나바이러스가 미국을 휩쓸면서 인종 차별도 함께 퍼지고 있습니다.

아시아계 미국인에 대한 인종 차별은 코로나19 세계적 대유행 (팬데믹) 가운데 하루 평균 약 100건의 증오 범죄에 대한 보고(신고)로 급증했습니다.

현재까지 아시아계 미국인에 대한 1000건이 넘는 차별 사례가 보고되었습니다. 유감스럽게도, 언어 장벽으로 인해 많은 사례가 보고(신고)되지 않고 있는 실정입니다.

귀하 및 / 또는 귀하의 사랑하는 사람들이 증오 범죄의 피해자인 경우, 귀하의 목소리를 들려 주시기 바랍니다. 침묵 속에서 고통 받지 마시기 바랍니다.

 

 신고 옵션은 다음과 같습니다:

(1) 본인이 거주하는 지역 내 경찰서의 비 응급 전화번호로 연락하셔서 범죄를 신고하실 수 있습니다. 응급(긴급) 상황 인 경우, 911에 전화 걸어 경찰 도움을 요청하실 수 있습니다. 만약 영어로 의사소통을 할 수 없다면 “코리안 (Korean)”이라고 말하면, 한국어를 할 수 있는 교환원을 연결해 서비스를 받으실 수 있습니다.

(2) 사건을 다음 사이트에 신고 하십시오: https://www.standagainsthatred.org/kr/about

(3) 아리조나 주 한인회 (602-345-1188)로 문의하시면, 주 지사의 평등 기회 사무실(Governor’s Office of Equal  Opportunities)과 연결해 드릴 수 있습니다.

 

As the coronavirus sweeps the U.S., so is racism.  Racism against Asian Americans has surged with reports of hate crimes averaging approximately 100 per day amidst the pandemic.

To date, there are over 1000 reported cases against Asian Americans. Unfortunately, because of a language barrier, many cases are going unreported.

If you and/or your loved ones were the victims of hate crime, please let your voices be heard. Do not suffer in silence.

 

You have options:

(1) Call and report the crime by calling the non-emergency police line. If it is an emergency, call 911.

(2) Report the incident to the following site: https://www.standagainsthatred.org/kr/about

(3) Call us at the Arizona Korean Association (602-345-1188), and we can connect you to the Governor’s Office of Equal Opportunities (GOEO).
